I don't believe in silver linings, I'm not going to lie. I mean, if at this point, you are still going through life believing that there is some kind of natural balancing force to the universe that for every bad thing you experience it sends you a good thing to sort of even it out, I don't even know what to say to you. I mean, good things and bad things happen, they just completely independant forces.
This is coming from a die hard optimist: things that suck, just suck. There is no upside. They blow. Thats all. Sooner or later you pick up your shit and feel better. Thats it. No pseudo-mystical bandaids from a balanced universe. Just suck.
Not to say I don't believe in God. Thats a whole different entry, I guess.
Its supposedly going to snow tommorrow, even though it was 70 degrees today. Snow is good.
