Sunflowers, Convertibles, Smores and the Beach

Today was so good.

Blake drove his new fast, shiny red convertible up to visit, and George, Elly & I drove around with him all afternoon with the top down on Lake Washington Blvd. It was just the most beautiful weather- no clouds, warm & sunny.

Everyone came out tonight for another bonfire at Golden Gardens, we roasted hot dogs & smores and smoked hookah and watched the sun set over the Sound and the Cascades.

Elly & came back, crashed on the couch and watched his new favorite tv show. I fell asleep during the movie we put on after that, and he carried me to bed and tucked me & kissed me goodnight.

I'm so happy.

Love is everything. And even though I'm going, and we're not going to stay together, its almost better that way. Because the way he looked at me tonight, when he kissed me and told me I was beautiful-- no messy break-up later will ever make today mean less or more to me. I feel so content and happy.
