Discontent

My house is a war zone, and the casualties are great.

Today we are approaching resolution. If you can call it a 'resolution' anyway.

Last night, I got nearly two hours of sleep, in two chunks of one hour.

All I want anyone to see is that the issue is bigger than this particular situation: that as a family, we need to be more cohesive & supportive of each other. Thats what families are about, right?

All I want is for everyone to try and support each other so as to make life easier on everyone. And, barring that, at least to all agree to make it no harder.

I don't understand why this is an offensive idea.

But I do understand that in order to live what I feel is right, I have to accept that this is offensive to my family, and back down in order to let things move as smoothly as possible.

I am surprised, frustrated and very sad that we are at this place.

Why do we have to hurt each other like this?

It has become pretty apparent that there will be no peace before there is great damage.
